Privacy Policy

Tuckii is built to be local-first. The links you save live on your device — not on our servers. You don't need an account, and we don't collect your email, your name, or your location. This policy explains the limited data Tuckii does handle and why.
1Information We Collect
Tuckii collects as little as possible. Specifically:
- Your saved content (stored on your device). The URLs, titles, descriptions, notes, collections, and tags you create are stored locally on your device in the app's database. We do not upload or store this content on our servers.
- Link metadata requests. When you save a link, the app sends that link's URL to our metadata service so it can fetch a preview — the page title, description, thumbnail image, and favicon. This lets your saved links look clean and recognizable.
- Device & diagnostic information. We may collect basic, non-identifying technical information such as device model and operating system version to diagnose problems and keep the app stable.
- Anonymized usage data. We may collect aggregated, anonymized information about which features are used so we can improve the app. This is never tied to your identity.
Tuckii does not collect your email address, name, phone number, contacts, or precise location, and it does not require you to create an account.
2How We Use Information
- To provide the core service — saving, organizing, and previewing your links.
- To fetch and display previews for the links you save.
- To diagnose issues, maintain stability, and improve the app.
- To process premium subscriptions through the app stores (see Section 4).
3Data Storage & Security
Your saved links and collections are stored locally on your device. When you create a backup, Tuckii exports your data to a JSON file that you control — you choose where to save it and whether to restore it later. Our metadata service may temporarily cache fetched link previews to make the app faster; this cache contains public page metadata, not your personal information. We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit.
4Third-Party Services
Tuckii relies on a small number of third-party services:
- Apple App Store & Google Play. Used for app distribution and to process in-app purchases. Their respective privacy policies govern those transactions.
- RevenueCat. Used to manage premium subscriptions and purchase status. RevenueCat processes purchase identifiers, not your personal contact details.
- Link metadata providers. To build link previews, our service fetches publicly available information from the websites you save and from the platforms those links point to.
- Anonymized analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate app performance.
5Your Rights & Choices
- Access & export. Your data lives on your device, and you can export all of it to a JSON backup at any time.
- Deletion. You can delete any link, collection, or all of your data directly in the app. Uninstalling Tuckii removes the local database from your device.
- Stay offline. Aside from fetching link previews, Tuckii works without sending your content anywhere.
6Children's Privacy
Tuckii is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page.
